PROJECT ENGINEER
The position available is project engineer. The project engineer will work within a design team to complete projects on time and on budget. The project engineer position will entail the analysis and design of new and existing structures. Responsibilities include:
- Review of architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans.
- Develop code specified dead, live, snow and lateral loads to be applied to the structure.
- Analysis and design of structure in accordance with the applicable design codes.
- Provide design information and sketches to draft technician for the preparation of construction drawings.
- Provide construction services, such as response to contractor’s questions, review of shop drawings and site visits to inspect progress of work.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of three (3) years of structural design experience in steel, concrete, masonry and wood.
- Working knowledge of building design codes including ASCE-7, IBC and IRC.
- Working knowledge of material design codes including AISC, ACI, Masonry and NDS.
- Proficient in AutoCad, structural design software and MS office products.
- Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written methods.
PROJECT DRAFTER
The position available is Drafter. The drafter will work within a design team to complete projects on time and on budget. The drafter position will entail the use of AutoCad and Revit software to develop and prepare design drawings including framing plans, sections and details. Responsibilities include:
- Review of architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans.
- Review and interpret hand sketches of Project Engineer.
- Develop design drawings from information provided by Project Engineer.
- Develop details and sections of structural elements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of two (2) years of drafting with AutoCad Software.
- Proficient in AutoCad and Revit products.
- Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written methods.
